Privacy notice

Short version: we collect what we need to answer you and support your technology, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Who we are

Defyracks IT provides design, IT support, home support and AI automation services. You can reach us at hello@defyracks.com.

What we collect

Contact details you send us: name, email address, phone number if you give one.
What you tell us about your equipment, accounts and the problem you need solved.
Support records: dates, notes, fixes and the occasional screenshot you share with us.
Remote support sessions: only while a session is running, and only with your permission.
Basic website logs from our server, such as the page requested and the time.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and quote for work.
To carry out the support or project you asked for.
To keep a record of what we changed, so the next fix is quicker.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The remote support portal uses a single sign-in cookie for staff accounts only.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within twelve months. Support records are kept while you are a client and for up to six years afterwards for accounting purposes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Who we share it with

Only the suppliers needed to run the service: email delivery, hosting and payment processing where applicable. We never sell personal information.

Your choices

Email hello@defyracks.com to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
